What if I want to get the CPA license and/or MAcc?

If you would like to pursue the Master of Accounting graduate program and/or CPA licensure, you need to take ACCT 330 Introduction to Taxation and ACCT 543 Introduction to Auditing as two of your three elective choices.

Accountants are pivotal to the success of every company. Regardless of size or industry, every team needs someone with an accounting skillset at the table.

Many accounting graduates start at public accounting firms in an audit, tax, or advisory role. Others start their careers in industry, in positions such as internal audit, financial reporting or financial analysis. As an accountant, there will be ample opportunity for advancement. Alumni work in a wide variety of positions, including controller, vice president of finance or chief financial officer.
